Aikaisemmin esittelin viime vuoden Robbie Williams -keikan kynteni ja tällä kertaa sitten tämän vuoden versio. Tämä keikka olikin jo toukokuussa, joten kynnet ovat "vähän" jääneet esittelemättä. Tämä kiertue oli nimeltään Swings Both Ways ja kiertueen keskipisteenä oli Robbien samanniminen uusi levy. Samanlaisia selkeitä teemoja en keksinyt kuin viime vuonna, joten nappasin levyn kannesta sen värit, etsin kynsilakoistani mahdollisimman lähelle osuvat ja aloin lakkailemaan. Mielestäni lopputuloksesta tuli ihan osuva, varsinkin kun kevätflunssa oli erittäin vahvasti päällä kynsiä lakkaillessa.
/ Earlier I showed my nail art from last year's Robbie Williams -concert. This time I have this year's version to show you. This year's tour was called Swings Both Ways and the center of this tour was Robbie's new album (Swings Both Ways). I didn't come up with the same kind of clear themes like last year so I just used the colors the album's cover has. I needed to use those nail tapes, but now I'll hide them from myself ;) I liked this nail art and since I was quite sick when I did them I'm surprised they came up this nice. /
Käytin kynsissä kahta eri koristelutyyliä, kynsiteippejä ja water decalseja. Water decalsit olin tilannut juuri tätä tarkoitusta varten ebaysta ja tuollaisia decaleita käyttämällä voi olla varma siitä, että kynsistä ei tule turhan tyylikkäät tai vakavat. Mutta onhan nuo ihan hauskat. Laadultaan nuo olivat kuitenkin aivan järkyttävät, mutta ainakin kuvattavaan käteen sain decalin menevään suhteellisen siististi, toiseen käteen ei niinkään. Tuollaista laatua en normaalikäytössä jaksaisi millään, mutta kun kyseessä oli yksittäinen tapahtuma oli pakko saada decalit toimimaan vaikka mikä olisi. Päällyslakan avulla decalit jämähtivät paikalleen, muuten liukuivat jatkuvasti pitkin kynttä.
Koristeteippien avulla halusin vain toistaa pikkurillien (Kiss Me I'm Brazilian) ja nimettömien (I Just Cant Cope-Acabana) värimaailmaa, jotta kynsien kokonaisuudesta tulisi eheämmät. Tällä kertaa jätin kokonaan pois nimikirjaimet, koska ajattelin naamassa olevan ihan tarpeeksi vinkkiä.
/ I used two different nail art techniques: nail tapes and water decals. These water decals I had ordered just for this purpose from ebay and when using this kind of decals you can be sure that your nails won't turn up too serious or classy. But I think they're quite fun. But their quality was just awful but I managed to get the decal pretty well in my hand which I was photographing. I wouldn't stand this type of quality in the long run but this was a once time event so I just had to make those decals work. With the help of top coat I got the decals to stay in their place, otherwise they just kept falling of the nails.
With the nail tapes I just wanted to repeat those colors in my little finger (Kiss Me I'm Brazilian) and ring fingers (I Just Can't Cope-Acabana) to make the nails more whole. This time I left those initials out since I thought my thumbs would give enough hints of what these nails are all about ;) /
Ja keikasta vielä sen verran, että hienoa oli. Päästiin taas tosi hyville paikoille ja Robbie oli ihan siinä vieressä, on se aika uskomatonta. Kuulin uuden levyn lemppareitani, esim. Swings Both Ways ja Go Gentle olivat livenäkin erittäin hienoja vetoja.
/ Still few words of the concert..I just have to say I really enjoyed it. We got really close to the stage again and Robbie was standing right in front of us, that was amazing! I heard my favorites from the new album, for example Swings Both Ways and Go Gentle were so good in live too! /
